2023-2024 Membership Information
BHVAOSA is currently accepting members for the 2023-2024 school year. Although it is not necessary to be a member of our chapter to participate in our workshops, members enjoy many added benefits.
Memberships can be purchased through this website. You will need to create a new account or login to your existing account to make your payment. If you prefer, you may print a copy of our membership form and mail it to the address listed on the document.
BHV 2023-2024 Membership Rates
Annual membership in the Berkshire-Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Orff Schulwerk Association will be in effect from July 1, 2023, until June 30, 2024. There are four categories of membership.
Full Members: $85.00 - This category is for working-age music educators. Members in this category are entitled to all of the benefits listed above.
Retired Members: $40.00 (Suggested) - This category is for retired music educators. The fee amount is suggested, but not required; retired members are only asked to make a contribution and are entitled to all of the benefits listed above.
Student Members: $15.00 - College students are entitled to access to all BHVAOSA events and all other Region 5 workshops. Students also receive documentation verifying their membership.
Industry Members: $85.00 - This category is intended for businesses with an interest in supporting the work and mission of the BHVAOSA. Industry members are entitled to all member benefits listed above as well as access to our members through newsletters, Facebook, and workshops.
Memberships can be purchased online, at a workshop, or by mail.
Benefits

Significant savings and access to all BHVAOSA workshops. The registration fee for each workshop in 2023-2024 will be $45.00, a total of $135.00 for all three workshops. Full membership includes admission to chapter workshops and all other chapter events for only $85.00.

A Workshop Guest Pass. Each Full and Retired member receives one Workshop Guest Pass which can be given to anyone who has not participated in one of our events in the past three years.

Access to Chapter Share Events. Our Chapter Share Events are offered to members at no additional cost.

Access to our Online Directory. Each year we create a Member Directory. Inclusion in the directory is optional. Participating members can access this information online.

Voting Privileges. Executive Board elections and some chapter business require that a vote be taken among chapter members.

Access to all other AOSA workshops in Region 5. With proof of AOSA membership and BHVAOSA membership, you can attend workshops at any other Region 5 chapter for only $10.00 per workshop.

Verification of your membership. Each paid member receives documentation on chapter letterhead suitable for a portfolio and a BHV membership card.
